  20. A really quick question. I've installed dvipsk-5.526b about 4 months ago and I
  21. realized today that compressed postscript figures have to be in the directory
  22. where dvips(k) finds the .dvi file.

  24. Is this already fixed in a newer release?

  46. The figure flexible-body.eps.Z is in /home_auto/bauer/Studienarbeit/TeX/figures.
  47. This should be considered by dvips as it is by LaTeX (psfig-style).

  49. Any ideas or experiences with newer versions?
  50. I already tried figures/flexible-body.eps instead of flexible-body.eps
  51. and several other things (like giving TEXINPUTS only the path to the figure ...)

  53. (I really don't want to have to install everything completely new if the
  54. problem still remains with the newest version of dvipsk)
